We believe there is only one true and living God, infinite, all-powerful, all knowing and perfect. He is revealed to us in three distinct persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who are equal and one in God, and to whom we owe all our love, reverence and obedience.
Isaiah 45:5, 1 Corinthians 8:6
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who, by the power of the Holy Spirit, became a man and lived a sinless human life. We believe He died on the cross and was resurrected to save us from our sins. He is our Savior and the only mediator between God and man. He will one-day return to reign forever over heaven and earth.
Isaiah 9:6; John 14:6-7
We believe that the Holy Spirit lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. Being one with God, He guides us in doing God’s will and in understanding God’s Word. He convicts us of our sins and leads us to repentance. He is present in the world to make us aware of our need for Jesus Christ.
John 16:1-13; 1 Corinthians 2:12-13
We believe salvation is our assurance of eternal life with God. Salvation is a gift from God to man, which can be obtained only through faith in Jesus Christ and not by any human effort or works.
Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:4-5
We believe that the Bible is the eternal Word of God, written by men and inspired by the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is timeless truth, without any mixture of error. It is our sole source of authority for faith and practice and the standard by which we live.
2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21
We believe God created man in His own image. We also acknowledge that by man’s willful choice and inherent nature, he mars God’s image by sinning against God. Because Christ died for mankind, every man is worthy of the love and respect of all Christians.
Genesis 1:26-27; Mark 12:31
We believe that God owns all things in heaven and on earth and that all blessings come from Him. Through Christ, we have been entrusted with His possessions and, therefore, we are under obligation to serve Him with our time, talents and material possessions, in order to further His Kingdom. We practice the giving of a tithe of 10% of all we possess to Lord’s work, in grateful recognition that 100% of it comes from his bountiful goodness to us.
Deuteronomy 8:18; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11
