Today I will:
I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. Proverbs 8:12 (KJV)
You may have heard it said that "Necessity is the mother of invention," but this adage is not necessarily true. In fact, necessity only lays the seed in the right place for an idea to grow. And where does that seed grow? In the fertile imagination of the inventor. Thus, if anything, necessity is the father of invention-and imagination is its mother.
Are you facing a problem today that seems insurmountable? So did Thomas Edison in inventing the light bulb; how else would you describe his over two thousand failures? However, in the end, his ingenuity and persistence paid off. Yours will, too, if you stick to it.
God longs to give you the answers you need to the problems you face. Your imagination can be the canvas of Christ if you will let it -a place where He will paint the answers to your problems if you will only turn to Him. Never forget that the One who created the mountains and the stars is within you. He measured the seas with a drop of water in His hand. No difficulty is too big for Him to solve.
