Today I will:
[Love] bears up under everything, believes the best in all, there is no limit to her hope, and never will she fall. 1 Corinthians 13:7 (ISV)
Hope is one of the most valuable commodities on earth. Without it we can do nothing. Hope is the doorway through which faith comes into our lives and whose hinges are lubricated by the love of God that we let flow through us. If that door has rusted shut because our love has "dried up," then hope will be "shut up," and the faith we need to move forward and accomplish our dreams will be "shut out."
The Bible tells us though that God's love has been liberally poured into our hearts (see Romans 5:5). In any situation that seems hopeless, tapping into that love is the key to getting the door of hope open again. When we love what we do and let God's love reach out to encourage and help others in the process, hope revives-and when people hope, they have something to start believing in again.
If we love what we do, we should never let setbacks derail our hopes and dreams. As Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT: "There are three things that will endure-faith, hope, and love." Never underestimate the power of any of these attributes in affecting your life.
